Wednesday 22 May 2019 is Wadham’s first ever Giving Day! We’re creating a Giving Day – well, 36 hours to include alumni everywhere – to have some fun, to connect with people and for us all to show how WadhamProud we are!
Gifts made towards the Giving Day, unlike donations made during the rest of the year, will have an even greater impact than usual.
Wadham’s Giving Day is a day to hear more about – and celebrate – what we’re doing to expand access to an Oxford education to the brightest students, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are creating this one day now for us all to come together and remember mark what makes Wadham unique, to communicate with other people and to encourage everyone to give so that we can all continue our ground-breaking Access to Excellence programme.
In the run up to Wadham’s Giving Day, you can become an ambassador and help us spread the word through your networks.
On the day all you need to do is give to the Wadham Fund what you can during the 36 hours of Wadham’s Giving Day. Just click on the donate button on Wednesday 22 May. All gifts count. You can also follow #WadhamProud and join in with the action on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
[TBC re Stripe/AFO progress]
Wadham College uses an offsite payment processor called “Stripe” to process credit card donations. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
Your support will help make our first Giving Day a wonderful success. Post about the Giving Day on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, using the campaign hashtag to spread the word amongst your peers about this special day.
Want to make an even bigger difference? Click the Ambassadors Link in the menu bar to sign up as an Ambassador.
On Wadham’s Giving Day, we’re asking our community to help us to create impact by giving to our pioneering Access and Outreach programme, “Access to Excellence”. Donations to the Wadham Fund on 22 May will go towards this programme to reach more students and open doors to an education at Wadham.
